A wonderful, sweet read that is highly recommended! - Laurel B.

  • Not just for kids- great message to the adult reader too!

This book has sparked some really good conversations with my 6yo around the why behind “no”. I loved that this book made me think about what my child might be internalizing as a result of me saying no. Most importantly, through the verses of the book, I loved seeing how I can better communicate my intentions to my little one. I have never been a parent who has wanted to resort to “because I said so” as a reason, and this book is helping me find the appropriate language to do so. I feel this book is helping my child develop self confidence when navigating difficult situations by reinforcing the understanding around a “no”. Bravo for making a book that is valuable for both the adult reader and the child.

  • Really Sweet Book to Teach a Lesson

This book beautifully conveys a heartfelt lesson about the importance of saying "no" and how parents use it as an expression of love. It’s written in a way that children can easily understand and appreciate, and the illustrations are wonderful. My child absolutely loves it! - Amy T.
